Trip Overview

My wife and 2 boys did this trip. Water reading at Cedar Run was at 1.6 feet (recommended min reading is 1.8) We put in at Wasuta (Gains, PA) and paddled the upper Pine Creek to Pine Creek Outfitters (Ansonia, PA)

9 mile trip took about 4 hours.
Did get stuck a couple of times through some riffles and scraped a bunch too. I'm 225 lbs and run an 11 foot kayak. My youngest son is about 80 lbs and runs a 10 foot kayak and didn't get stuck at all.

If you don't mind having to get out once or twice it wasn't bad.

Saw a bald eagle, golden carp, trout, and some ducks and ducklings.
