Pigeon River in Michigan

by  GRKayaker

A self-supported trip created by GRKayaker

Trip Overview

We put in at Hemlock Crossing Park and got out at Pigeon Lake. The river started out very narrow and we had to maneuver around many fallen branches across the river. The scenery was beautiful but, there was absolutely no current. This is a river many people kayak/canoe down and up the river. The time it took to paddle was an hour and a half.

Accommodations:

Small park and lot to park.

Fees:

None

Directions:

Hemlock Crossing Park address is 8115 W. Olive Rd, West Olive, MI.
