3.5 hour float with light paddling on the flat spots. Covered bridge and a large rail road trestle. A large amount of tubers for a mile below Sickman's Mill. Otherwise we had the creek to ourselves.
Safety Notes
Be on the lookout for Suzy's Hole. There is a sign on the left bank of the creek.
Conditions
Very shallow on most of the rapids. Be prepared to hit rocks.
Portage Notes
A short portage around Suzy's Hole (~100 yds). As of July 2023 the trail was blocked by a fallen tree forcing us to carry our kayaks over several large rocks to get to the water.
