Trip Overview

Nice warm day to paddle, though the current was enough to keep you at a good rate. Nice mostly flat water with a few riffles and class 1 rapids. Nice scenery, osprey and eagles were in the area.

Approx. 12 miles, 7 hours. Most of the rapids at the end of the trip. The river splits into at two spots along the float.

I had floated the section below this section and it had fewer rapids.

Fees:

None

Directions:

I-85 to Va. route 40 east, to cherry hill road to cutbank road
