I’ve only ever launched from the south of Lake Oliver, I wanted something new but close and decided to launch from the North. The road to get there is a mile of completely dirt road (very rocky). It was more peaceful and less populated than the south of the lake. The south Marina is about 5 minutes from my house but for a quick just wanting to get out type of paddle I’d much rather drive the extra 20 minutes to this side of the lake. If you’re into fishing this would be an excellent spot.
