Trip Overview

Nice calm waters no fast bass/large boats to worry about. Two connected bodies of water to traverse and not very deep 15' at the overflow central area is 10' edges are 2' - 3'. A few very large rock structures just below the surface most parts of the year and under water trees so keep an eye out. There is a boat ramp with easy access at lake entrance however several quality places to drive back into park and launch that are easily seen from the road. There are fish here plenty of smalls. Just a nice quiet place to get out and enjoy the afternoon with out worries of major current or rapids to worry a beginner. Scenery is nice and it's never over crowded.

Conditions

Generally very calm and bass boats are limited to wake so no major waves to contend with. Great place to learn and a fun place to relax and enjoy.
