Neponset River in Massachusetts

Trip Overview

Took the kayak from Bades launch in Norwood to Paul's bridge in Milton. The launch site is located just east of rt l behind an office building. About an 8 mile trip in total, I think it took about 4hrs but I took it slow. About 8 bridges you go under along the way. The nicest stretch was behind Norwood Airport.I was a bit dissapointed by huge amount trash that was stuck on every tree that had fallen in the river. There are/were 2 fallen trees in the university ave station area that needed some tricky portage to get around.
All in all an easy trip but due to the amount of trash I saw I can't recommend it.
