Neponset River in Massachusetts

Trip Overview

I thought I would try the Neponset River. I was just great to be outside but the trip was rather disappointing.

I put-in at Paul's Bridge in Milton and traveled upstream but about a half mile down a big tree covered the entire width of the Neponset and I had to turn around. Didn't want to try to climb over since I was alone.

The current at the put-in is strong IMAO some might have a hard time.
