Musconetcong River in New Jersey

Trip Overview

Nice day to float down this section of water. Took about 50 minutes. River was the lowest that I would recommend floating it unless you like dragging bottom. USGS gage at a point below the section I floated said today was about 670 cfm and 3 feet high.

I've run this section when it was about 2 feet higher, and it was much more fun (but not recommended for beginners, couple of strainers that could get you into trouble with the fast water).
