About 2.7 miles RT and an easy paddle even with wind. No boat traffic on south end Launch at Satterly Landing where there is plenty of parking. Great scenery and two small beaches to land and take a break across the harbor near the north west corner, but not near the boats. Look for the houses and the road that just out a little into the harbor. You can beach there. Wildlife = snowy egrets, barn swallows, little blue heron, Canadian geese, mallard, and great blue heron hiding in the trees. Take all the side coves and sneak up on the birds.
