Paddled Shenandoah river upstream from Village riverside park in Shenandoah towards Elkton. Flat water and minimal current aside from one area of moving water which I got through with a little effort. River level is fairly high so I probably could have gotten all the way to a Elkton but my time expired.
Beautiful scenery, cliffs and formations on east side of river, agricultural fields on left. Saw herons, lots of ducks and.... for the first time in the wild...an otter!
