Paddle starts from a quiet cove and from there you can paddle close to shore or out in open Waters of prospect bay..Lots of wildlife but civilization is close by.In summer noisy cigarette boats...The center rents kayaks for a nominal fee.You can bring your own,but you must be a member and it's a quarter mile to launch site.. Environmental center has restrooms and tables for a picnic lunch.Also a Small beach.. Lots of fun for families.
