Took our new boats out for the first time at Devil’s Lake state park. It’s an enclosed body of water with 2 boat launches. We launched from the North Shore as there is a gravel beach which was perfect for launching in the water. The water was a little choppy in the middle but for the most part was calm. We went in the evening so it wasn’t as busy as that place can get in the summertime.
