We paddled from Mags Rock to Sandy Bottom Access. Neither are marked well. We used Purple Lizard Maps to create our route. We dropped off our Kayaks at the Mags Rock entrance and drove the car to Sandy Bottom. From there we road our bikes just under 7 miles back to the kayaks.
Safety Notes
Towards the 5 mile mark, the water forces you hard right up again the tree line. The trees stick out and it’s very dangerous. Fortunately I saved my face and dumped. 30” of water. Easy to recover
Conditions
Water levels were low. Had to get out and walk a few times.
