Trip Overview

We recommend a stretch located west of M40 running to the Michigan Lakeshore, the lower section from below Lake Allegan to Hacklander Boat Landing is designated as natural river and offers some very nice paddling with relaxing views of wildlife. Travel along the Swan Lake Area Refuge (Restricted Area) and Ottawa Marsh, accessible outside of Fennville.
We have multiple day trips available in this section of the river featuring enjoyable recreational paddling for family outings and group events.
Trips range from approximately 2 hours to a full day.
