Trip Overview

Myself and four of my children took this trip. We put in where US-127 crosses the Looking Glass. There is an unimproved township park that sits on the North bank of the river at this point.

We went on about a three hour trip, which ended at a park West of Dewitt which is near the intersection of Herbison and Airports Roads.

This is a great trip for kids or beginners. There were a couple challenging log jams but nothing too bad. Lots of wildlife and very peaceful.

Accommodations:

One store in Dewitt provides a good place to stop for a break and snack.

Fees:

None

Directions:

Put in a an unimproved park where US127 crosses the looking Glass River. There is one take out in downtown Dewitt and a second West of Dewitt.
