Park beside busy 211 and scramble down bank to put in under bridge (posted property upstream river right). Starting in hardwoods transitioning to tidal marsh. Best to start around 3 hours after high tide in Holden Beach. Nice off season paddle through wild and lightly populated area. 13.6 miles. Take out at Varnum (Supply boat ramp)
