Little River in North Carolina

Trip Overview

Upper Little River

My son and I paddled this section of River after doing some research from "Paddling Eastern North Carolina." Wasn't sure what we would be in for but it turned out to be one of my better trips. Total time from put in till you make it into the Cape Fear is about two and a half hours. You have a few logs to go around but not enough to get annoyed.

From Titan Roberts Rd. is the better half of this trip. A few rapids in the latter half make this fun, would have been better with about another foot of water. After entering the Cape Fear we played around in the River and finished up the trip going through Campbells Falls.

All in all a good time would recommend it to anyone.
