Trip Overview

On our first kayak trip, myself and 2 others were looking for an easy day-trip. We put in on hwy 122 west of Hahira on the Little River.

With the first few miles really flowing after a good rain a few days before we began to relax. Countless sandbars embrace the ever so curvy river at every turn... "This is great!" we bragged... Then it began... the fallen trees came by the dozen. On my first trip I determined there are 4 ways to navigate these... Go around, over, under, through. 3 hours of our 9 hour day was spent navigating around these.

We saw an Alligator that had to be over 10 feet! The fishing looked great!
