Trip Overview
We had a group of four canoes and launched from Nichols on Friday. We found a good bank and settled in for the night. We caught a few fish and shot some squirrels and had that along with hot dogs for dinner.
Saturday, we paddled 17 miles and camped on an island .6 miles upriver from Galivants Ferry. We faced a storm that afternoon. We secured the camp and let it pass. Cooked supper on the fire and pulled out the next day.
