101 degrees out today, went to Lake Rim to try out stability test. No gear on kayak, leaned from side to side on my Eagle Talon from Field and Stream and found the point of no return. It took a great deal to get there. I also had to fish, on the water 1.5 hours, paddled the whole lake, caught 1 crappie, well under a pound, caught two bass one was 1.5 pounds the other was just under 3 pounds. Bait used was white spinner and j9 Rapala jointed back. Awesome lake to Kayak, especially for beginner, nice boat launch, no facilities, close to Wal-Mart. Gotta pass Wal-Mart to get to Lake.
