Paddled across and down Lake McCloud in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest and then back up the lake to the McCloud River. Paddled upriver till the current got too strong. Lovely forested lake with nice fall colors. Cloudy and cool day, drizzled on us for 10 minutes at lunch. Didn't make it to Wintoo, the mansion Hearst built during WW II which was further upriver.
