Lake Logan in Ohio

Trip Overview

Lake Logan is a small lake with a 10hp power boat limit which makes it nice for paddling. We launched at the beach because it was a weekday and no one was on the beach. You can also launch from the boat ramp right next to the beach.

On the opposite side of the lake from the beach, you can paddle to where they have several bird houses set up and watch quite a few species of birds. This lake is a great place if you want to have a picnic followed with an afternoon of kayaking. The views aren't spectacular but it is a nice quiet lake to take someone if they want to learn how to kayak and get a sample of the enjoyment of kayaking.
