Trip Overview

I got there at approximately 10:30am on Sunday Morning. There were a few boat trailers in the parking lot when I got there. Other than that I saw no one while getting in the water.

This is an easy paddle with exceptions to the speeding pontoons and fishing boats that pass you on occasion. Not a lot to see either, unless you enjoy looking into people's back yards as I saw very little undeveloped land along the 35 miles of shore. I paddled for approximately an hour and a half before getting bored and returning to the ramp.

Would I paddle it again? Maybe, if I had nothing else to do. I prefer Croft State Park or Lake Cooley any day.
