Trip Overview

Our group of about seven arrived at the Hwy 32 Bridge around 12:30 and floated to Cox Landing. This trip took about 7 hours start to finish.

With the recent excess of rain, the creek was pretty high and we had to navigate around several fallen trees right after we put in. About and hour in, the trip became really enjoyable, although the blue hole was flooded we found two small waterfalls and even explored a cave we found along the bank.

I caught 2 decent Bluegills on a rooster-tail about 500 yards north of the Hwy 19 bridge.

Overall a very enjoyable, but tiring, trip.
