Fun and slow portion of the river. Minimal motorboat traffic. A bunch of tied together rings, 2 paddle boards, and a kayak on this trip. The rings had to be towed around ripple shallows and rocks by the kayak but an easy trip, lot's of family fun. Took about 1 hour and 15 minutes, a perfect afternoon. Nice beginner run.
Safety Notes
Pontoons or rings need some sort of propulsion like a paddle to get around shallows and rocks and to get from side to side in river.
Conditions
Mostly flat water, some ripples in the shallows.
Portage Notes
Enter at Keizer Rapids, leave a car at Spong's Landing to bring you back.
