Kayaking, Hiking, and History in Newfoundland
Trip Overview
Newfoundland has a reputation for being friendly. Warm and welcoming, fun loving and funny to the core, the people here are also known for their natural creativity, unique language, and knack for storytelling. It is also well known for beautiful rocky coastlines, whale watching, icebergs and great outdoor activities like kayaking and hiking.
On this all inclusive trip the focus is kayaking in Trinity Harbor and Bay, and hopefully seeing whales, eagles, dolphins, capelin and other wildlife along the way. But there are many other things to see and experience. We hike a beautiful coastal trail, watch a comedic reenactment of life there in the 1600's performed by a local theater, learn about historical and current living in this rugged region from locals and on a private guided historical tour.
Our accommodations in Trinity are at a restored, waterfront home built in the 1800's. Each room is private and has an on-suite bath. Meals are made just for our group right at the lodge and breakfasts are done to order. This is not a large group tour, you have personalized service at every step along the way!
