Quick couple of hours on the lake. There is a launch spot to the right of the boat ramp. Some days, they rent kayaks and paddleboards here, but the rentals are closed lately. Calm water, good for beginners. Not very crowded.
Conditions
The lake can get A LOT of algae in July/August, so best to call ahead and ask conditions.
