Trip Overview
A three-day cultural immersion & kayak experience on the Tibiao River in Antique province on the island of Panay, Philippines. This 3-day trip won the Kalakbay (national tourism) Award in 1999 for the best internationally marketed tour. Why? Because it captures the essence of the Philippines: spectacular scenery, down-to-earth, friendl locals and an action-packed river environment with a class 3+ river and a 7-level waterfall. The tour is all-inclusive: two-way transport from the tourist island of Boracay, accommodation at rustic Kayak Inn with it's trade-mark "kawa" fire tubs, all meals and drinks & guided activities.
