The entry point is locked/not open to vehicles. 50 paces down to the water. Lots of deadheads after heavy rains. Bottom of shallow lake slopes slowly away from shore. Thick submerged aquatic plant layer covers mucky or sandy bottom. Some small floating islands of Invasive water chestnut. Lots and lots of floating plastic trash and toys surround the pond--it desperately needs a trash paddler group intervention. Many shoreline fishing people, catching catfish today. Sighted blue heron, beaver, turtle, wild hibiscus.
