Hidden suprise

Trip Overview

We were originally supposed to put in more inland but there was no water. We than decided to abort this trip and go to the South Carman river instead, a place we've been before. On a whim we drove past here instead and decided to put in anyway. What a hidden surprise. The parking area was a little hidden if you didn't know it was there, it was a small gravel parking lot holding maybe 20 vehicles. From the parking lot you had a ramp with a kayak slide down to the water and at the water there was a floating dock with rollers and handles so you could launch in style without getting wet! Trip consisted of about 2 mile trip east and back due to time constraints at this point. It took us to just shy of Indian Island. You will be sharing the water with boaters, so keep an eye out. It was an easy enough paddle despite some wind and we enjoyed it.
