The dream was a 2.5 hour lazy trip (we were misinformed)... the reality was a 6 hour trip with a scary rough patch hidden behind a bend. Harvey Bridge to 115 took our group 6 hours. 3 hours minimal paddling, only paddling to avoid stuff. 2 hours moderate paddling. 1 hour moderate to heavy and very heavy paddling. Amateur to moderate skilled group with children and older folks on recreational kayaks.
Safety Notes
River is currently high and fast, with freshly fallen trees. One bend in particular, between 1-2 hours in I think, curves left and has a deep and powerful current that sweeps unsuspecting and amateur paddlers into a fallen tree on the left and will tip them.
