Trip Overview

Surrounded by tall firs, easy access, and absolutely calm and peaceful.

Great for fishing, paddling or swimming. On a clear day the tress, sky, and clouds reflect off the water.

Remember, it is now a law that a whistle must be attached to your life jacket or look out for the happy ticket writers (marine patrol.)

There are a few parks and restrooms throughout the area

no fees or permits at this time; free is a very good price

Directions:

go I-5 south or north, take the Sweet Home/Lebanon exit, travel about 30 miles east of I-5. Follow the signs after you leave Sweet Home to Green Peter.
