I launched here this morning 6-10-2021. It was a beautiful morning, which makes almost any paddle nice! I headed upstream because there is a damn not far downstream and I like to start going against the current so I can have a leisurely paddle back. There were very few houses and only a little road noise. There was not a lot of wildlife, just a blue heron, turtles, and a few other birds, but it is still great nature. There are no rapids, but there is a current, so BE CAREFUL GETTING IN and wear your life vest.
