A nice Two and a half hour paddle with one portage. The portage was due to the high water levels and we were unable to go under an abandoned foot bridge. The majority of the paddle is heavily tree lined. One is able to see signs of beaver activity and witness many types of water fowl and raptors. The fall colors were breathtaking. Have paddled this route several times and have never seen another paddler. This is a great river for a beginner river paddler.
Portage Notes
Due to high water level we were unable to go under an abandoned foot bridge. We found that East side was the best option to portage.
