Trip Overview

This was a pleasant, short kayak trip. At the far right of the pond, you can go into a lagoon and find a waterfall.

Here is a description by the Army Corps of Engineers:

Fulton Pond is on the Fulton Pond River in Bristol County, Massachusetts and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1998. It is owned by Town Of Mansfield.

Fulton Pond Dam is of earthen construction, a gravity dam. Its length is 800 feet. Its capacity is 144 acre feet. Normal storage is 24 acre feet. It drains an area of 12.5 square miles.

There are no restrooms, but near center of town.
