Trip Overview

Saginaw St. Bridge to Milville Rd.

This was a 2.5 hour trip. The scenery was beautiful. We saw a lot of wildlife - including a sweet little fawn. Unfortunately, there were 4 blockages along the way. We had to pull out and walk through waist high weeds with nettles.

A few of the downed trees that we crawled over may have had poison ivy vines wrapped around them. We scrubbed ourselves down with TechNu and no one seems to be breaking out, yet.

Although, it was a bit of a wild ride it was a fun adventure. This route needs to be cleared out and I would suggest covering up with a long sleeve rash guard and leggings until the blockages are cleared out. Bring some mosquito spray and TechNu, too.
