Flint River in Alabama

Trip Overview

My family and I had a wonderful time kayaking down the Flint River last week! We went to the new kayak rental place that just opened up a couple weeks ago. It's called Hampton Cove Kayak Adventures! It was a wonderful place! The employees and owners were so nice! They made the whole day very enjoyable.

This was the first time kayaking for most of us. We were so excited for this! We saw various species of birds and fish while we were kayaking. We saw a couple of otters also! It wasn't hard to paddle but there was some spots that where the river was going fast!

It was a lot of fun watching my family paddle down this river! We will be going back to Hampton Cove Kayak Adventures very soon!!

Fees:

It does cost to rent the kayaks here, but not much. There is also shuttles available if you have your own kayak. It's 45 to rent a kayak and 35 to rent a canoe. The adventure is well worth the price spent.
