Trip Overview

Wonderful experience on the Flint River. Late Spring day with temps in the mid-80's. Flow rate was right at 200 cfs.

We put in at the Rube Patterson Road Put-in near the Patterson Church. Take out was Riverton Road. River was fast and fun. Water level enabled generally clear passage, although we hit some rocks along the way.

Last two miles of the run is fast with shoals and class I rapids. Some of the rapids were difficult to navigate due to lower water levels, but I was able to stay in the boat the entire trip.
