Fairview Lake Oregon

A self-supported trip created by BrainardLake

Trip Overview

Fairview Lake on Fairview Oregon is a shallow lake surrounded by houses just South of the mighty Columbia. The water is open dawn to dusk for non motorized boats with a public launch at a park on the South side. Not many parking spots at the small park but you can park on the street. Park has picnic tables porta potty and shelter and benches. Well kept with friendly fishermen.
We went on an overcast day on a date and really enjoyed a leisurely “stroll” Around the entire perimeter. It was fun to observe what boats and docks / storage spots people set up. Each house had lake access but some Clearly did not take full advantage. We took a short channel, circled the island and scooted under the road through the tunnel to the adjoining neighborhood. saw 2 paddle boarders and waved to a few home owners

Overall a pleasant trip.

Safety Notes

Watch your head in the tunnel

Conditions

Calm water
