Trip Overview

An Epic Paddling Adventure in the Boundary Waters and Quetico means full immersion in true wilderness. No two itineraries are the same. Williams and Hall Wilderness Outfitters will work with you to create a customized route that meets your needs.

Paddlers have been coming to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA) and Quetico wildernesses for nearly a century to enjoy some of the best paddling in the most beautiful place in the world. With over 2 million acres with 2,000 interconnected lakes, the possibilities for wilderness canoe travel are endless, including the fabled Hunters Island route. There are no prescribed “Hours of Operation.” No schedule to keep. This is wilderness camping and paddling the way it was done 100 years ago (with a few modern conveniences added).

Williams and Hall Wilderness Outfitters personnel are experts in Ultra-lightweight canoe camping. They provide Kevlar canoes, filling and tasty trail food and durable, compact camping gear essential for safe and comfortable wilderness travel. In order to make sure your trip is safe and successful, at Williams and Hall they make sure you are prepared with basic safety information before you enter the BWCA and Quetico.

Gear Notes

As North America's only outfitter specializing in ultra-lightweight canoe outfitting, Williams and Hall's canoes, tents, sleeping bags, packs and food are custom made to their specifications. They outfit with We-No-Nah Kevlar canoes and Savage River carbon fiber canoes.

Conditions

This adventure takes you deep into the Boundary Waters and Quetico wildernesses. Conditions can change quickly. Always be prepared and exercise good judgement.
