Trip Overview

A 6-mile family trip down the Enoree River.

We dropped in at Musgove Mill. There were trees to avoid but only to make it fun and interesting. I (220 lbs) had to get out about ten times and let the boat float over some shallow sandy bottom but my wife and two little ones were able to stay in the 14.6 Old Town Saranac canoe. It took 2 hours.

The Best:
Beautiful, no buildings, no other people once we passed Musgrove Mill

The worst:
Jones Bridge take out. HIGH banks on both sides. VERY muddy.
Note: The Jones Bridge may be gone and under construction real soon and may take a year or two to rebuild.

I would do it again because it is very close to my home. I would go earlier in the year.
