Trip Overview

Enders Lake is a great place to paddle especially during the weekdays of summer. There are very few people on the lake at this time. This past week I went fishing from my kayak and caught three wipers over 24". Plus, lots of smallmouth bass, rock bass, crappie, and white bass. I fished mostly at the base of the dam along the rocks. It was easy to drift as the wind came directly from the south.
I used minnow spinners with much success. The paddling was difficult against the wind but the cool water was refreshing in the 90 plus degrees weather.
