Elkhart River in Indiana

Trip Overview

We paddled from Rogers Park up stream to the Goshen Dam and back.

The route was mostly clear with one small dead fall that required us to slide across.

Going upstream a couple shallow narrows caused us a little challenge but returning downstream these spots were non-issues.

Accommodations:

City Park with a concrete bots ramp.
There are two shopping areas within 1/4 mile of this park.

Directions:

Take US 33 into Goshen. Where the Elkhart River crosses US 33 is Rogers park.
