Paddled from Monticello South Ramp across Elephant Butte Lake to Black Bluffs and Little Kettle Top and back at Elephant Butte Lake State Park near Truth Or Consequences, New Mexico. Saw a beaver in a grotto cave and coyotes hunting along the shore. Also terns fishing, swallows building mud nests and a raven's nest.
