Ebeneezer Creek in Georgia

Trip Overview

After being very high after all the recent rains in the spring, the river has fallen down to its normal level. I was not able to paddle the entire river and had to drag my kayak around one log jam. When I encountered a second and much larger log jam, I decided against trying to get around it on shore. The river bank was quite soft and not pleasant to be mucking around in.

The entire trip only lasted one hour, thirty minutes down the river and thirty returning. The beer cans and other debris seems to be multiply on this river as well, a major bummer.

Fees:

No

Launches:

I launched from the Longbridge Road ramp, a nice ramp that seemingly leads to nowhere.
