Trip Overview

The main attraction to the cove is as a flat water entrance to the Connecticut River via the connector that runs under the 91 Interstate. You can either take a short paddle through these protected waters or head out into this relatively quiet stretch of the Connecticut River south of Hartford. There is a nice gradual concrete ramp from the large parking lot you can use to enter the water.
