First kayak trip with our new (to us) Tarpon 120 kayaks. Used the kayak launch at E.G. Simmons park and followed canoe trails signs out to the bay. Saw ibis, brown pelicans, kingfishers. Paddled around exploring mangroves on way out to bay. Strongly advise use of bug spray as the no-see-ums were a nuisance when loading/unloading.
Portage Notes
You can unload you kayaks right next to launch to avoid carrying kayaks from parking area.
