Good place for a short kayaking trip: 5.5 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes nonstop. We took two cars, parked one at the Mill Race Park boat ramp and then drove about 10 minutes in the other car and started at the Lowell Bridge. The water provided a nice stream downward, and there were only a few areas that were a little wavy or rough.
Safety Notes
Beware of large floating logs and shallow waters which may be hard to paddle through.
