This is a very scenic trip with many rock formations along the bank. The creek bottom is mostly rock. There are several commercial operators along Sugar Creek, and it can get busy on this stretch. The Crawfordsville gauge was 2.3 ft and the flow was 500 cfs. The current was moderately fast, but not dangerous. We covered 13.7 mi in 3:38 averaging 3.8 mph.
